Having a Balanced Portfolio of Work

When you’re thinking about what your plans should look like for a successful year, or half, it’s important to think about your projects like a portfolio: you want a mix of tasks rather than all be aspects of the same thing. And you want to mix short-term and long-term projects. You want things that you will do yourself, and things where you will lead.

Thinking about your projects in quadrants maybe is a good idea. Consider the following:
